Just the Spices Fajitas

  • Make the spice mix first in a small bowl using, 1/2tsp chilli powder, 2tsp paprika, 1tsp ground cumin, 1/2tsp ground coriander, 1 1/2tsp oregano (or mixed herbs will work)
  • Now heat a glut of oil in a frying pan, chop the vegetables into thin strips/slices and cook for 5-7minutes over a medium heat
  • Meanwhile slice the meat and once the veg has softened add this to the pan and cook until browned at least 5minutes)
  • Now add the spice mix (make sure you’ve combined it in the bowl first) and stir through ensuring everything is well coated
  • Allow everything you cook for another 10minutes lowering the heat if things start to stick to the pan
  • Prep some salad if you have some to serve your fajitas with (a nice idea to take the zing out of the spice)!
  • Warm your wraps in the microwave and transfer the fajita mix to a large bowl or oven proof dish (warmed in the oven if you like)
  • Now get creating your yummy messy simple (no store bought seasoning) fajitas!
  • oh if you don’t have any wraps just go naked or wrap them in lettuce!
